Don't focus on the dollars.

Thankful

5. How has participation in athletics affected your character?
Taught me to use God's gifts to the fullest.

6. What virtue or personal character trait would you like to acquire?
Patience!!!

7. What do/did you find most difficult about dating?
The time it requires.

8. Why do you think abstinence before marriage is a good idea?
I believe in the truths of the Bible, and it's in there.

9. Do you have any fun ideas for a date?
Skiing or going to a comedy club are my favorites.

10. Are you married? Have children? How many?
No. No. 0.

11. What attracted you most to your spouse?

13. What advice would you give a friend thinking of marriage?
Make sure it is based on love and sharing of Christ.

14. Why are you pro-life?
Biblical truth, plus children/adults are precious.

15. What do you appreciate about your life?
God's gift of a wonderful family and set of friends.

16. What was your most humbling experience?

17. What was your most exalted experience?
My most humbling and exalted experiences are really the same. When I won in 1996, I felt so thankful for the gift, but I also felt so small that I wasn't sure if I could use it the way God wanted me to use it -- very humbling.

18. What do you do when things are not going well for you?
Say thanks anyway.

19. What do you do when you do something wrong?
Feel crummy, ask for forgiveness, feel like I can change.

20. What do you think about when you experience success?
Thankfulness and the hope that I can use my success to spread God's word.

Share my faith.

Take a hot bath.

23. What is your favorite pre-game meal?
Don't have one. Eat whatever I'm craving at the moment.

24. What is your favorite snack when you are not in training?
Can be anything from broccoli to chocolate, depending on the craving.

It's difficult to stay strong, but all have the strength. The Bible says that God will not let us be tempted beyond what we can handle.
